The problem
Your next customer already asked an AI who to call. SayHawk reads the answer, so you know whether it was you.
01 How it works
Three steps, no setup on your side
Give us your business name and city. We do the asking and send back what the answers say.
- 01
We ask what your customers ask
We ask the questions people type when they need a dentist, from your city, through each company's official API with web search on. None of the questions name your business.

We ask more than once
AI answers change from run to run, so one answer proves nothing. We ask each question at least twice on each engine and count how often you are named.
11 questions × 2 engines × 2 runs = 44 answers
- 03
You get a one page report
Your range, who is named instead, which websites the answers lean on, and anything wrong about your business. It arrives by email, checked by hand before it is sent.

One page that answers four questions
- 2.1
Know if you are named at all
A range for ChatGPT and a range for Perplexity, never one made up number. If we do not have enough data, the report says so.
- 2.2
See who is named instead
The three businesses AI recommends most often in your city, and how many answers each one appears in.
- 2.3
Read the sources AI leans on
Which websites the answers cite, such as Healthgrades, BBB and Yelp, and which of them list you.
- 2.4
Catch what AI gets wrong
A wrong phone number, address or a claim that you are permanently closed, checked against your Google listing and your own website.

03 Method
Ranges, not fake precision
AI answers change between runs. Ask the same question twice and you can get two different businesses, so one run is one roll of the dice. We repeat the measurement, show the uncertainty, and say “not enough data” when that is the truth.
The range is a 90% interval that treats repeated questions as related, not independent. We ask through official APIs, which can differ from the consumer apps, so we label everything and verify findings by hand before sending.
Who builds this
Built by a small team with 23 years of experience building data systems. SayHawk applies the same habits to a messy new problem: measure carefully, show your work, do not oversell.

Questions owners ask
Which AI assistants do you check?
ChatGPT (via OpenAI API) and Perplexity (via Sonar API), both with web search on. Your report shows results for each engine separately.
Can you get AI to recommend my business?
We cannot promise that, and nobody honestly can. We do not control what AI says. What we do is show whether you are named today, who is recommended instead, which websites the answers cite, and any wrong information about you. Those are things you can act on.
Is this just SEO?
It is related, but it is not the same. A search engine shows a list of links. An AI assistant writes one answer and names a few businesses. We measure that answer, and we show which websites it cites, since directories like Healthgrades, BBB and Yelp often dominate.
What does it cost?
The check is free. No card, no sales call. Paid plans are not live yet, and founding customers get early pricing.
Why is my score a range?
AI answers change between runs, so one run is one roll of the dice. We ask each question at least twice and give a 90% range from 0 to 100. A wide range means the answers disagree. Sometimes the honest result is not enough data, and we say so.
Do the answers match what I see in the ChatGPT app?
Maybe not. We ask through official APIs, which can differ from the consumer apps, so every result is labeled with the engine and how it was asked. Wrong information findings, like a bad phone number or a permanently closed claim, are checked by hand against your Google listing and your website before we send them.
What do you do with my information?
We use it only to run and send your check. We never sell it.
Read the privacy pageHow long until I get my report?
We review each one by hand before sending it, so it can take a few days. We would rather send a correct report than a fast one.
